Just a quick note on Sapphire annual services, we appreciate that some installers don’t offer servicing within their business activities; however, we have come across a few agents who are not experienced in the Sapphire service procedure, and then are reluctant to offer this service.
One point to note is to check the ignition electrodes and replace them on a service, the reason being that they are permanently in the flame, unlike yellow flame burners, so depending on the boiler run times, they can show signs of warping after 12-15 months, so best to replace them, they are available as a spare on your agent pricelist.

One further point is to check and clean the little sight glass inside the burner housing on a service; if this is sooty, the flame signal will drop and can cause nuisance lockouts. It just takes a few seconds to wipe clean.
If anyone requires further training on the Sapphire, please get in touch, and Reece will be glad to help you out.
